**Construction Update: Mountain Trail Academy Set to Open in 2025**
The Queen Creek Unified School District has announced that the new elementary school, Mountain Trail Academy, is scheduled to open in July 2025. The campus will span 90,000 square feet and will cater to students from kindergarten through 6th grade, emphasizing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education and flexible learning spaces.
Current construction status includes:
- Framing of first-floor walls, with drywall installation underway.
- Completion of concrete work for the second floor.
- Ongoing installation of utilities and data wiring.
