JROTC Programs Depend on Override Renewal Decision

Staff Report / QueenCreeklocal.org

The Override Renewal decision will have significant implications for the Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD).

If the Override Renewal passes, the Navy Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) Program will be introduced at Eastmark High School (EHS), and the JROTC Program will continue at Queen Creek High School (QCHS).

However, if the Override Renewal fails, QCHS will lose its Army JROTC Program.

The JROTC programs are designed to instill leadership and discipline in students. For more information on the Override Renewal and its potential effects on QCUSD, visit the district’s website at https://www.qcusd.org/election.
