Staff Report / PHXlocal.org
The Phoenix Zoo is bringing back its holiday tradition, ZooLights, starting tomorrow. To celebrate, the zoo is giving away four tickets to a lucky winner. To enter the ticket giveaway, participants must comment and tag three friends or family members they wish to bring. The drawing will remain open until 3 p.m. on November 27, and the tickets can be used on any night through January 12.
The opening week will feature several festivities, including:
- On November 27, there will be a live performance by the Queen Creek High School Marching Band at 5:15 p.m., followed by the lighting ceremony for ZooLights at approximately 5:30 p.m. Appearances by the Diamondbacks' mascot, Baxter, and the Coca-Cola Polar Bear will also take place.
- On November 30, the Coca-Cola Caravan will be in the parking lot from 6 to 8:30 p.m., featuring Santa Claus, a pop-up shop, a Magic Mailbox, and more holiday activities.
- On December 2, a sensory-friendly ZooLights experience will be available, offering less flashing lights, quieter music, and smaller crowds.
Tickets for ZooLights can be reserved online for a $5 discount at the official Phoenix Zoo website.
