Chandler residents have an opportunity to pick up slightly used cleaning products, spray paint, tiki torch oil, propane tanks, and more at the Household Hazardous Waste Giveaway Event. The event, organized by the city's Solid Waste Services, will take place at the Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center at 955 E. Queen Creek Road on Thursday, April 3 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Items available for pick-up include automotive fluids, pesticides and herbicides, household cleaners, varnishes and stains, and camping propane tanks among other household hazardous materials that have been diverted from the landfill.

To participate, eligible Chandler residents must either receive solid waste services or live in a Chandler multi-family unit. Participants are required to bring a photo ID and a copy of a utility bill showing their current Chandler address.
