A Bogle Junior High School student in Chandler, Arizona, returned a lost wallet containing a significant amount of cash. While riding his bike on Queen Creek Road, Cody found the wallet on top of a car. Although he was hesitant about invading the owner’s privacy, he searched inside the wallet for a way to contact the owner and used his phone to conduct an online search.

Cody was able to identify the owner and arranged a meeting for its return. The owner’s boyfriend collected the wallet, and the owner expressed her gratitude. She explained that she had accidentally left the wallet on her car and had no idea where it might have gone.

Cody’s actions have been recognized by Chandler Unified Schools, and he was presented with a new electric dirt bike as a reward.
