This road closure is part of ongoing construction related to the Taxiway U project, which is connecting the north and south airfields on the west end of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

Drivers will need to use eastbound Buckeye Road as an alternative route to these facilities. For example, motorists traveling eastbound on I-10 should exit at "Sky Harbor," take the "PHX Sky Train" or 24th Street Station exit, and then turn left onto Buckeye Road.
