Arizona DPS hosts prescription drug take-back in Casa Grande
Casa Grande, Ariz. — State Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety's Highway Patrol hosted a drop-off site for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 25, 2026. The site provided a safe and secure location for residents to discard old or unwanted prescriptions.
Casa Grande residents dropped off 14 pounds of unwanted prescription medication for safe disposal, the DPS said.
The department's post thanked participants. Officials said turning in unwanted medication helps prevent addiction, misuse, accidental poisoning and keeps harmful substances out of the environment. A fall take-back event was announced.
