Queen Creek Fire & Medical was on scene at a residence near the 21,000 block of E Timberline Rd for a reported working fire call.

Initial reports said the fire was in a structure’s garage. Crews worked on controlling the fire, and no injuries were reported.

In an update, the department said firefighters initially used the water supply on their trucks while securing an active water supply from nearby hydrants. The closest hydrant was temporarily inoperable, so firefighters used redundancy in the system to access two additional hydrants—one to the east and one to the west—to secure an active water supply.

According to the update, all hydrants in the neighborhood were tested on June 17 and are operational.
