Queen Creek Fire & Medical (QCFMD) said it is hosting a bottled water drive this summer to provide hydration for people most at risk during extreme heat.

The group said its goal is to collect 250 cases in honor of America’s 250th Birthday.

Fire Station 1, 20678 Civic Parkway, will serve as a donation drop-off location.

Additional ways to drop off water
Residents can bring a case of water to a community event Tuesday, June 2, at the Queen Creek Recreation & Aquatic Center, 22343 E. Ryan Road, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Residents also can bring a case of water to the Town Council meeting on Wednesday, June 17, at 6:30 p.m., when the America 250 proclamation will be issued by the QC Town Council.
