Chandler Unified: Bond-Override Vote November 4
Chandler Unified Schools is preparing for an override and bond special election on November 4. Residents within the district’s 80-square-mile boundaries, which include most of Chandler along with parts of Gilbert and Queen Creek, are eligible to vote.
The proposed bond would fund various projects. Funds would be used for building repairs and maintenance, such as structural repairs, cooling systems, playgrounds, fields, and classroom furniture. The bond also includes plans to expand the bus fleet to improve transportation efficiency. Additionally, investments in technology and security are part of the proposal. Upgrades would include support for innovative technology and futureproofing, as well as renovations and improvements to school safety and security systems.
Chandler Unified Schools has received the highest possible bond ratings from national rating agencies for many years, demonstrating strong financial stewardship. Further details about the election are available on the district’s election fact webpage.
